Growing Aniseed Herb
Prefers a warm sunny position that is well sheltered in light or medium, well-drained soil.
Extremely drought tolerant and highly attractive to bees and birds.
Aniseed Herb Recipe
Lemonade
- 2 large lemons squeezed (about 80ml juice), add 50g sugar and 5 shoot tips of the Aniseed plant (8-10cm long) and a tiny pinch of salt in a bowl with the juice.
- Mix well with a blender and then pour through a sieve and refrigerate.
- Add 1 litre of mineral water, it is now ready to drink.
